Here I am!!!

My web journey starts here.

I thinking to comprehend my thoughts here and you will see a transformation on how things change and perspectives develop. I will possibly use a blogger to write; document Ed.D course work; put together some thoughts and will also make it "useful" for my fellow students.

As said, I figure, the purpose for this website is to catalog my journey which includes both personal and professional experiences. Personal blogs are to articulate - possibly things that I could share. Professional discussions are to communicate to the world, primarily with my fellow students and with my instructors.

Living in a foreign country (is it really "foreign" after 6 years?) is quite a challenge. I am beginning to learn that all changes are difficult and it is necessary to go through them to build the "character". I am also learning to appreciate what I have and stick to my most important values and to change the ones that needs to be improved.

Before I take off, I would like to extend special thanks to my family who has been a great support in my transition. It's them who put me here for good and bad, in ups and downs - and all worked out very well.

Spring 2008 is my first semester in the Doctoral program in Educational Leadership & Technology at Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond, Louisiana. The doctoral degree program was approved as a Consortium of Southeastern Louisiana University and University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Getting through the Doctoral program will be heck of a work than what I thought before I started. But I am going to get it through. I can not think of anything else - except the goal and how I am going to get them in a couple of years.

Faculty and staff in the Department that I work (Educational Leadership & Technology) are very welcoming. It has been a wonderful experience as their support and encouragement has a tremendous affect on my academic transition. They deserve every gratitude and all the Thank U's.
